Little Kitty

This is our cat Little Kittie. Do you see him staring you down? For some reason he's just started sleeping in the egg basket when its empty and tittering on the bar. He will randomly attack your leg in the dark if you're not watching out for him.

He isn't even ours for real. We adopted him when the neighbors got him as a mouser, and didn't feed him, thinking he could catch his food.

So he became our little kitty and we never called him anything else. (Despite the fact we feed him, he still is a great mouser)

We really are the best at naming animals. It probably comes from my Dad's side. They had a white dog named White Dog, creative huh.

We've had Popcorn (white fluffy dog), who had a tendency of hopping through high weeds so that you'd only catch glimpses of him popping up.

A mule named Beverage. He was so much smaller than the rest that he only carried the coolers full of beverages.

A dog named Maverick, because we found him at a Maverick.

Josh thought of naming the husky Barney, which was a joke ... that no one caught on to.

Tiger, the orange stripped cat.

A very large cat that just showed up at our house one day got called Big Boy for the rest of his life.

We named a blue parakeet Blue Jay (for a long time I never knew there was another kind of bird that was actually called a blue jay, duh).

Thankfully my parents spent a little bit more time on our names.
